Gopal Naik Nenavath

Gopal Naik Nenavath, PhD, is a highly experienced molecular virologist currently working as a Principal Scientist at Imanis Life Sciences since May 2021. Previously held positions include Senior Scientist and Scientist I at the same company, as well as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Oral Biology, University of Florida, where research focused on SARS-CoV-2 and oncogenic viruses. Gopal completed postdoctoral training at the Institute of Molecular Biology, Academia Sinica in Taipei, Taiwan, specializing in vaccine design for dengue and Zika viruses. Gopal began academic research at the same institute while earning a PhD in Molecular Virology and has extensive experience in project management and scientific communication. Gopal's educational background includes a Master's in Biotechnology and a Bachelor's in Biotechnology.
