Kirsten Bauer

Kirsten Bauer has a diverse work experience spanning many years. Kirsten began their career in 2009 as a Biology Intern in the DNA section for the Hennepin County Sheriff. Kirsten then moved on to the roles of Forensic Technician - Serology Screener and Forensic Scientist - DNA Analyst. In 2015, they became a Qualified ASCLD/LAB-International Assessor at the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors / Laboratory Accreditation Board. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at OneOme as a Laboratory Supervisor and Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Most recently, they joined Bristol Myers Squibb as a Translational Medicine Quality and Functional Assessment Associate. In 2022, they will become the Director (Head of) Laboratory Operations and Quality Management Systems at imaware.

Kirsten Bauer attended the University of Minnesota from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in both Biology/Biological Sciences, General and Biology.
