David Hannes

Prior to joining Imbio, Mr. Hannes was Vice President of Business Development for NeuWave Medical, a microwave ablation start-up based out of Madison, Wisconsin. Mr. Hannes joined NeuWave in its second year of commercial sales and was a key member of the leadership team which built the company into the market leader in microwave ablation, including gaining broad acceptance across the nation’s Top 50 cancer centers.

Mr. Hannes led NeuWave’s Business Development and Strategy, corporate contracting and Marketing during this rapid transition from start-up to growth business. Prior to Neuwave, Mr. Hannes spent more than 14 years at GE Healthcare across a variety of operational and commercial leadership positions including Corporate Purchasing, Commercial Operations, Finance, and Global Service P&L leadership. Early in his career, Mr. Hannes was a manager in Ford Motor’s Corporate Purchasing group where he built his global commercial, strategy and lean manufacturing/operations experience. Mr. Hannes has a B.S. in Business from The University of Dayton and an MBA from the University of Madison – Wisconsin.
