Dirk van Eester

Dirk VAN EESTER is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and marketing, particularly in the Japanese market. Currently serving as Business Development Manager Japan at imec since August 2014, Dirk combines expertise in microchip technology and software. As the Founder and CEO of D-VECS, a marketing consulting firm, Dirk has supported numerous western companies in entering Japan. Additional roles include representing clients such as PEC Japan K.K. and NXP Semiconductors, where responsibilities spanned logistics solutions and technology licensing, respectively. Dirk's advisory experience extends to companies like intoPIX and consulting for iText. Dirk holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and an engineering degree from KU Leuven.
