John Karcz

John Karcz has extensive experience in engineering, maintenance, and reliability roles. John is currently working as the Regional Director of Industrial Reliability and Engineering at Imerys, where they are responsible for improving safety, compliance, production capacity, and reducing costs. Prior to this, they worked as the Interim Plant Manager at Calderys, overseeing plant MRO activities and ensuring safety compliance. Previously, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at iBio, Inc., where they developed and maintained PM and reliability programs. John also worked as a Commissioning Superintendent and CMRP at Bechtel Corporation, where they led cross-functional teams in maintenance and reliability activities. John has held various managerial positions at Lake Erie Coke GP Inc., Sanofi Pasteur, and ACT Consulting Services, where they focused on operations management, reliability engineering, and industrial maintenance projects. John also worked as a Lean Manufacturing Engineer at Metso and as a Molecular Biologist/Toxicologist at the Great Lakes Research Institute during a sabbatical from Metso. Overall, John Karcz has a diverse background in engineering, maintenance, and reliability, with experience in managing teams, implementing safety measures, and improving operational efficiency.

John Karcz has a Master of Engineering - MEng in Industrial Engineering from Buffalo State University. John also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Dual Degree: Chemical Engineering/Biological Chemistry from the University at Buffalo. In addition, they have an Executive MBA with a concentration in Strategy and Leadership from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business.
