Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a background in developing collaborative educational solutions. Since July 2010, Chris has been with SMART Technologies, initially serving as a firmware engineer and currently as an electrical engineer, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and related devices. Previous experience includes working as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, contributing to control systems for forestry harvester units. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary while pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, following a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
