Benjamin Gaudin

Operations Coordinator, Yemen at iMMAP

Benjamin is the operations coordinator for the Yemen response. In his role, he is responsible for context analysis, definition and revision of strategic orientations, fundraising, financial, staff and quality management as well as representing iMMAP in coordination platforms for the global response. Benjamin has extensive experience working as an independent consultant, country director and field coordinator in various humanitarian contexts.

Prior to joining iMMAP, Benjamin worked as an independent consultant in Nigeria, Iraq and Lebanon providing mission audits, mentoring sessions remote diagnostics for junior country directors, logistic coordinators and security managers. In his previous positions, Benjamin was a country director with Premiere Urgence International (PUI) in Libya and Yemen for 3 years. He also worked as a country director with Doctors Without Borders France (MSF) in Papua New Guinea and a field coordinator in South Sudan for nearly two years.

Benjamin holds a Master´s Degree in Anthropology of Societies and Their Environment from the University of Lyon II, Master´s Degree in Humanitarian Action from the French Institute for International and Strategic Affairs and Bioforce as well as a Master´s Degree in Integrated Territorial Development from the Museum of Natural History and University of Montpellier, France. He further holds a Disaster Risk Management Certificate from the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center in Thailand. He is fluent in English and French.
