Vik Parth

Vik Parth has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Vik is currently working at Immersed, starting in 2022, where they hold roles in R&D and Engineering. Prior to that, they worked at Arrow Electronics from 2019 to 2022, serving as the Director of Engineering and AI, Head of Product for SaaS, and Director of Innovation & Product Strategy for SaaS. From 2019 to present, they also worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Research Affiliate in AR/VR.

Earlier in their career, Vik worked at MIT Hyperloop II as the Team Captain and Propulsion Engineer from 2018 to 2019, and at MIT Media Lab as a Graduate Researcher in HCI and Augmented Reality from 2017 to 2019. Vik also gained experience at Magic Leap as a Hardware Engineer in Advanced Photonics R&D from 2016 to 2017, and at Texas Guadaloop as a Co-founder from 2015 to 2017.

Before that, Vik worked as a Teaching Assistant in Engineering Design at The University of Texas at Austin from 2014 to 2016, as an Applications Engineer in DLP Automotive Head-Up Display at Texas Instruments in 2014, and as a Product Marketing Engineer at National Instruments in 2013.

Vik Parth has an extensive education history, primarily focusing on technology and engineering. Vik holds a Master of Science (S.M.) degree in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Vik also participated in an exchange program at Sungkyunkwan University, where they studied Engineering and Liberal Arts.

Furthermore, Vik obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering/Physics from The University of Texas at Austin. Vik also completed a dual Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Plan II Honors, which is a prestigious program, from the same university.

In addition to their formal education, Vik has obtained certifications that enhance their skillset. Vik completed the "Machine Learning in Business" certification program offered by MIT Sloan Executive Education. Furthermore, they obtained the "Certified Teaching Assistant" certification from The University of Texas at Austin.
