Lori-Ann M.

Lori-Ann M. has extensive experience in social work and community service, currently serving as an Advisory Committee Member at Immigrant Women Services Ottawa since October 2018, providing strategic direction and informed counsel. Lori-Ann also holds positions as Vice Chair and Board Member at Crisis Line, and as a Crisis Counselor with CAWI City For All Women Initiative. Other roles include Facilitator at The Butterfly Park Services, Women's Advocate at the Domestic Violence Shelter, and Counsellor at Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre. Earlier experience includes work as a Youth Worker with Youth Now Canada and a Child and Youth Worker at Terrace Wellness Group. Lori-Ann's educational credentials include an Honors Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Carleton University, an Honors Diploma in Social Service Work from Humber College, and a range of certifications in business administration and deaf studies from George Brown College.
