Dr. Stephan K.H. Simon

Dr. Stephan K.H. Simon has a long and varied career in finance and risk management. Dr. Stephan K.H. currently serves as CFO & Head of Staking for Immutable Insight (2021). Prior to that, they were a Senior Advisor & Investor for Easyblue (2019) and Tindeco Financial Services (2019). Dr. Stephan K.H. was also Head of Funding Strategy & Deposit Analytics for Raisin DS (2019). From 2010 to 2019, they were a Principal, Finance & Risk at Oliver Wyman, leading Pan-European Treasury & Finance Expert and Thought Leader. From 2007 to 2010, they were an Engagement Manager, Financial Institutions at McKinsey & Company. From 2003 to 2007, they were a Doctoral researcher at Catholic University Eichstaett. Lastly, from 2001 to 2003, they were a Fellow/Associate at McKinsey & Company.

Dr. Stephan K.H. Simon began their educational journey in 1985 when they obtained their Abitur from Klenze Gymnasium in Munich, majoring in Maths & Physics. In 1993, they achieved a certification as a Ski Instructor and Freeride Guide from IVSI & DSV. From 1995-2000, they attended Universität Passau, where they earned their Diplomkaufmann in Business Administration and Economics. In 1997-1998, they attended Lund University and obtained their Master of Science in Finance. Finally, from 2003-2006, they attended Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, where they earned their PhD / Dr. rer. pol. in Finance and Banking.
