Theo Drane

Theo Drane is a seasoned engineer and researcher in the field of silicon design and software architecture, currently serving as a Fellow Silicon Design Engineer at AMD and a Council Member for the Computing Research Association. With extensive experience that includes roles such as Datapath Architect at Intel Corporation and Software Architect at Cadence Design Systems, Theo also holds the position of Honorary Research Fellow at Imperial College London, facilitating collaborations and teaching initiatives. Theo's career began with leading engineering roles at Imagination Technologies, where contributions included heading a multidisciplinary consultancy group focused on high-performance math-intensive hardware. Theo possesses a PhD in Circuits and Systems from Imperial College London and a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
