Dror Shemesh

Dror Shemesh has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and software development. Dror is currently serving as the VP Engineering, Data Security at Imperva, where they lead the team responsible for protecting data from cyber attacks. Prior to this role, Dror held the position of Senior Director, Cloud Data Security & Insights at Imperva, where they played a key role in implementing and sustaining security, compliance, and privacy initiatives for over 6,200 customers.

Before joining Imperva, Dror worked at HERE Technologies as the Head of Core & Marketplace, overseeing the development and management of core technologies. Dror also has a strong background in machine learning-based cybersecurity products, having held roles such as Engineering Director, Security Analytics and Director of Development, Emerging Products at Imperva. In these positions, they led teams and was responsible for the development of innovative security products and the implementation of efficient processes.

Dror began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Primavera Prosight, where they gained valuable experience in software development. Overall, they have a proven track record of leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of data security and cybersecurity solutions.

Dror Shemesh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2006. Dror then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2008 to 2011.
