Sekhar Babu Chintaginjala

Sekhar Babu Chintaginjala has a strong background in security research and engineering. Sekhar Babu currently holds the position of Principal Security Research Engineer at Imperva, where they have been working since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Imperva (through the acquisition of ArecaBay DBA CloudVector) as a Principal Security Research Engineer from 2018 to 2022. Before joining Imperva, Sekhar worked at Netskope as a Senior Staff Engineer from 2013 to 2018, and at Intel Security as a Principal Research Engineer from 2012 to 2013. Sekhar Babu also has experience working at ABB as a Senior Software Engineer from 2009 to 2012, at Intoto Software (I) Pvt. Ltd (later acquired by FreeScale) as a Senior Security Engineer from 2005 to 2008, and at CERT-In (Indian CERT) as a Member Technical Staff from 2004 to 2005. Throughout their career, Sekhar has demonstrated expertise in vulnerability research, security incident response, and developing security guidelines.

Sekhar Babu Chintaginjala completed their B.Tech in Computer Science from Careers for Nellore in the years 1998-2002. Sekhar Babu then pursued an M.Tech in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 2002-2004.
