Alexander E. Hromockyj, Ph.D. has held a variety of positions in the IT and business sectors since 2001. In 2001, they began their career as Senior Director of Infectious Diseases Genomics & Bioinformatics at Pharmacia Corporation. In 2003, they moved to Pfizer as a Research Fellow in the Indications Discovery/Drug Repositioning Unit and later as Senior Director of Discovery Inflammation Biology, Biomarkers & Genomics. In 2013, they became Entrepreneur in Residence at BioGenerator and Managing Partner of METACROM Services, LLC. Alexander E. also founded AXulting LLC and served as IT Business Partner Lead at Bayer Crop Science, where they led cross-functional teams in planning, aligning and executing IT strategic goals and managed a $15M+ annual portfolio. In 2022, they began their current role as COO/CTO at Impetus Agriculture, Inc.
Alexander E. Hromockyj, Ph.D. completed their education history in the following order: Northwood High School, University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Microbiology, General, Uniformed Services University with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology and Immunology, and Stanford University School of Medicine as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Microbial Pathogenesis.
