Meghan Akers

Meghan Akers has a range of work experience in the recruiting field. Meghan is currently working at Imply as a Senior Director of Recruiting, a role they have held since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Director of Recruiting at Imply from December 2021 to August 2023, and as a Director of Technical Recruiting from March 2021 to December 2021. Before Imply, Meghan worked at Inkling as a Recruiting Lead from January 2019 to November 2020. Meghan also has experience as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Lyric from December 2017 to January 2019, and at Brightloom from March 2017 to December 2017. Meghan's earlier work experience includes roles as a Business Recruiter at LendUp from November 2015 to March 2017, and as a Technical Sourcer at LendUp from September 2015 to November 2015.

Meghan Akers holds a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology & Archaeology from Saint Mary's College of California. Meghan also studied Archaeology at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to their college education, they obtained a General Diploma from New Trier Township High School Winnetka. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have certifications in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in the Workplace V4 from Traliant, and is a certified Scientific SCUBA Diver from the American Academy of Underwater Sciences. Meghan also holds an Open Water Diver certification from PADI.
