Tommy Hinks

Tommy Hinks has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Linköping and later pursued a PhD at UCD, specializing in their field until 2011. Tommy then worked as an R&D employee at Exotic Matter AB and as a Freelance Postdoc before joining Elekta as an R&D Software Engineer in 2012. In 2015, they held positions as a Senior Software Developer at both Volumental and RaySearch Laboratories. In 2013, Tommy co-founded Meloq AB, and they are currently employed at Important Looking Pirates VFX as a Lead Researcher since April 2022, where they previously served as an R&D Developer from September 2020 to May 2022.

Tommy Hinks completed their PhD in Computer Science from University College Dublin from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued their MSc in Media Technology and Computer Graphics at Linköping University from 2001 to 2006.
