Luis Alcaras has a diverse work experience in the software development industry. Luis started their career as a Software Engineer at CCEO - Software Development, where they worked on developing web and mobile applications for the health and food delivery industries. Their responsibilities included creating REST APIs, designing new interfaces, and implementing innovative ideas from conception to development.

After that, Luis joined Softtek as a Software Engineer in 2019. Here, they worked on various projects for the Renewable Energy division at General Electric. Luis was involved in tasks such as migrating platforms from Polymer to React and implementing a continuous probability distribution to visualize the relationship between noise and energy generated by wind turbines.

Since 2021, Luis has been working at J2 Innovations as a Software Engineer. Luis contributes to the development and maintenance of FIN Framework, an open platform for Smart Buildings, Smart Equipment, and IoT. Additionally, they collaborated with the Auxita team in creating a platform that integrates with Electronic Medical Records and eliminates administrative tasks.
