Dean Thompson

Dean Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dean began their career as a Senior Professional Consultant at Keane Consulting in 1997. From there, they served as a Database Administrator and Data Architect at Strategic Technologies, where they planned, designed, and delivered Oracle RDBMS solutions. In 2003, they joined MBS Insight Group, a GSI/eBay company, as a Senior Data Architect and DBA, optimizing database environments supporting marketing analytics applications.

In 2005, Dean became a Senior Manager of Architecture at WeightWatchers, leading a team across the United States and Canada. In 2009, they joined the City of Atlanta as an Applications and DBA Manager, where they established and oversaw the implementation of database standards and procedures. In 2010, Dean took on the role of Director of IT Global Operations and Senior Database Administrator at Verizon Connect, developing and implementing IT solutions to improve performance and efficiency.

Dean also worked at the University of Phoenix as a Faculty member from 2010 to 2018. After that, they served as a Senior Director at Equifax, overseeing middleware infrastructure and solutions, as well as managing customer relationships. Dean'stime at Equifax also included directing technology solutions for international projects.

Prior to their current role, Dean worked as a Technical Advisor at Adjure Technology, providing guidance and expertise on blockchain applications. Dean joined InComm in 2019 as a Senior Director of Financial Information Systems, leading the implementation of the company's financial systems and improving system usability.

Throughout their career, Dean has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills, driving enterprise-wide initiatives, and delivering innovative solutions.

Dean Thompson obtained an MBA in Information Systems (with honors) from Hofstra University and a BS in Information Science from York College at The City University of New York (with honors). In addition, they have obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. Dean is also pursuing certifications in AWS from Amazon and CISM from ISACA. Dean has not specified the institution for the Agile Project Management and OCP certifications, nor has they provided the obtained month and year for these three certifications.
