Chul Lee

Chul Lee is an experienced technology executive with a robust background in engineering and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Indeed.com since October 2022, leading international R&D teams focused on ad-tech, AI, and data solutions for employment. Previously, Chul held the position of Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at LG Electronics, overseeing the AI lab for consumer electronics and IoT products. With a significant tenure at Amazon as Director of ML Software for Alexa and at Samsung as VP of Engineering for Visual Display, Chul has driven various advanced technology initiatives, including hyper-personalization and optimization in multiple fields. Earlier roles included leadership positions at Under Armour, MyFitnessPal, LinkedIn, and Thoora, showcasing a diverse expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and content curation. Chul obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a Master's in Mathematics from the University of Toronto, complementing a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
