Ulrica de Fort-Menares is currently the VP of Product and Strategy at Indeni. Ulrica has extensive experience in product management and networking, having previously served as the VP of Product Strategy at LiveAction and as a Director of Product Management at Cisco Systems, Inc.

Fort-Menares began their career in 1987 as a Network Specialist for Canadian Pacific Railway. Ulrica then transitioned to Royal Bank in 1989, where they worked as a Network Engineer until 1995. It was during their time at Cisco Systems that they truly began to make a name for herself in the industry.

At Cisco, Fort-Menares was responsible for the vision, strategy and execution of the LiveAction Application-aware Network Performance Monitoring product. Ulrica also drove incubation opportunities utilizing market trending, emerging cloud technologies and key customer requirements. In their 14 years with Cisco, they made a lasting impact on the company’s network and collaboration solutions.

In 2014, Fort-Menares left Cisco to join LiveAction as their VP of Product Strategy. Ulrica was responsible for the overall direction and growth of the LiveAction product line. During their time at LiveAction, they successfully launched several new products and features that expanded the company’s reach in the market.

Most recently, in May of 2017, Fort-Menares joined Indeni as their VP of Product and Strategy. In this role, they are responsible for leading the product vision and strategy for Indeni’

Ulrica de Fort-Menares has a Masters in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Essex.
