Jennifer Young

Jennifer Young is an accomplished legal operations professional with extensive experience in legal and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as the Legal Operations Director at Independence Pet Group since January 2022, Jennifer has held significant roles at Allstate as the Manager of Group Product Compliance and at National General Insurance as the Manager of Legal Compliance. Jennifer’s career spans over two decades, beginning with Assurant Health, where various positions culminated in a Supervisor role in Regulatory Compliance. Jennifer also possesses advanced paralegal certifications from California State University, Monterey Bay, and George Mason University, complementing a Bachelor of Science degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Throughout Jennifer's career, a strong focus on compliance initiatives, contract development, and regulatory guidance has been consistently demonstrated.
