Shannon Harrell

Shannon Harrell is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications, public relations, and marketing across multiple industries, including pet health and wellness, food and beverage, and insurance. Currently serving as Head of Integrated Communications at Independence Pet Holdings, Shannon leads teams responsible for corporate communications, PR, social media, crisis communications, and internal communications. In addition to this role, Shannon is a member of Chief, a network dedicated to empowering women leaders, and serves as an adjunct professor at John Carroll University. Previous positions include Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Independence Pet Group, Director of Marketing at Teladoc Health, and various leadership roles at Nestlé and Progressive Insurance. Shannon holds a Master’s degree in Communications Management from John Carroll University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Otterbein University.
