Chernee Vitello

Chernee Vitello has over 25 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruiting. Chernee is currently serving as the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Index Exchange since March 2019. Prior to that, they were the Owner of Whiting Consulting, a boutique recruiting company, where they provided direct placement, recruiting consulting, and recruiting process outsourcing for technology-focused companies for over 15 years. Before starting their own company, Chernee worked as a Recruiting Manager at Xelus, where they managed all the Rochester opportunities and was responsible for finding talent and working with hiring managers to bring candidates through the hiring process. Chernee also has experience as a Staffing Manager at CTG Health Solutions, where they served for a significant duration. Overall, Chernee has a strong background in talent acquisition and has played key roles in several companies throughout their career.

Chernee Vitello attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
