Rahul Patwari

Rahul Patwari has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Rahul most recently worked at Index Exchange as a Senior Software Engineer in the Data department starting in June 2023. Before that, they worked at Grab as a Senior Software Engineer in the Data department from November 2022 to May 2023.

Prior to their time at Grab, Rahul worked at Solera, Inc. as a Data Engineer from May 2021 to October 2022. During their time there, they fixed a memory leak in a caching library used across all Flink pipelines in the Data Platform. Rahul also implemented a data pipeline that tracked the location of 200k customer fleet vehicles in real-time with a latency CAP and SLA of 15 seconds using Flink, Kafka, Cassandra, and Redis. In February 2022, they were promoted to Tech Lead and mentored a team of 4 developers and 2 QA professionals.

Before their role at Solera, Rahul worked as a Data Engineer at Omnitracs from October 2020 to April 2021 and at SmartDrive Systems from June 2020 to October 2020.

Rahul's earlier experiences include working at Nokia as a Lead Engineer from July 2018 to June 2020 and as a Graduate Engineering Trainee from July 2017 to June 2018.
