Sean Tozer

Sean Tozer has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Application Developer co-op at Munich Re Canada (Life) in 2004. Sean then worked as a Quantitative Analyst co-op at Legg Mason Canada in 2005. In 2010, they joined the Toronto Centre for Phenogenomics as a Senior Developer and later became the Manager of Informatics and Programming. Sean managed a cross-functional team and was responsible for creating and maintaining a web application for a medical research facility. In 2013, Sean became a Software Development Manager at SiteScout, where they managed a team and implemented development processes to maintain pace and reliability. Sean then worked at Loblaw Digital as a Senior Manager, Director, and Senior Director of Software Engineering, leading various teams and driving team ownership through organizational design. From 2021 to 2023, Sean worked as the VP of Engineering at Clearco, leading an integrated engineering team with a focus on collaboration and building innovative solutions. In 2022, they also worked as an Advisor at Launch Up. Currently, Sean is working as the VP of Digital Technology at Indigo.

Sean Tozer received their Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a specialization in Computer Science & Business from the University of Waterloo in 2007. Sean went on to complete their Master of Mathematics degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2009.
