Erick Paredes

Erick Paredes has extensive experience in the field of information technology, with a focus on leading high-performing teams and executing IT strategies. Erick currently works as the Head of Information Technology at Indra, where they are responsible for orchestrating Brazil's IT roadmap and implementing transformative technologies. Prior to that, they served as the IT Operations Manager at CTG Brasil, overseeing critical processes in cybersecurity, infrastructure, and telecommunications. Erick also held various roles at Duke Energy Corporation, including IT - Operations and Support Supervisor and Network and Server Administration. Erick has a strong background in network administration, server administration, VoIP administration, and virtual infrastructure implementation. Erick started their career as a Systems Technician at Desarrollo y Actualización Profesional.

Erick Paredes holds an MBA in Management with an emphasis on leadership and innovation from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Telecommunications from Universidad Mariano Gálvez in 2010-2011. Erick also has a degree in Systems and Computer Science Engineering from the same university, which they completed from 2001 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Dicas Rápidas para Gerentes Seniores" and "Enterprise Architecture Foundations" from LinkedIn in 2022. Before pursuing higher education, Erick completed their basic education at Instituto Guatemalteco Israeli from 1988 to 1997.
