MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE

ISM is seeking experienced CNC Machinists who have CNC Mill and/or Lathe experience. Experience in set up and programing Mazak mills and lathes is essential. Must also be able to read blueprints and have basic computer and math skills. Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Set up and operation of equipment per manufactured blueprints.

  • Ensuring all machines are well maintained, in good operating condition, and running in accordance with a set schedule.

  • Complying with all safety rules and regulations and keeping the surrounding area safe for yourself and others.

  • Carrying out secondary functions such as deburring or quality checks as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • CNC Machining experience.

  • Ability to read blueprints and use measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers and hand gauges.

  • Must be able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including the ability to understand detailed safety rules, operating and warning instructions, procedure manuals and product label identification.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and willingness to undergo a physical examination as necessary.

  • Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Good To Have:

  • Management or team leading experience.

  • Mazak programming, G-Code, GD&T experience

  • Lean manufacturing principles

  • Quality inspection experience

  • Manual machining

  • Troubleshooting CNC machines

  • ERP Software knowledge
