Shannie Monteiro

Shannie Monteiro has extensive work experience in talent attraction and coordination roles. Shannie is currently working at INFARM as a Talent Attraction Partner since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Junior Talent Attraction Partner from May 2021 to June 2022 and as a Talent Attraction Coordinator from November 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining INFARM, Shannie worked at ICWE GmbH as a Project Coordinator from March 2017 to November 2019. In this role, they coordinated event logistics for large-scale conferences and exhibitions in the Higher Education and EdTech sector across various continents. Shannie was responsible for managing international exhibitors, sponsors, and partners from onboarding to event close.

Additionally, Shannie has freelanced as an English Language Trainer from 2011 to 2017, providing training in English language skills. Shannie also worked as a freelance English Copy Editor from January 2011 to December 2016, focusing on editing and refining written content.

Shannie Monteiro pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Development Studies from the University of Sussex from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their bachelor's degree, they have also obtained several certifications. In November 2010, they received a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from Cambridge Assessment English. In May 2016, they obtained telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule certification from telc GmbH - The European Language Certificates. Lastly, in March 2020, they earned the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org.
