Caroline McCarthy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Caroline is currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing at Infillion, a media and technology company focused on connected consumer experiences. Prior to this, they worked as an Editorial Board Consulting Editor at The Principal Post, where they managed client projects and oversaw written copy. Caroline also held multiple positions at true[X], including Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Communications and Content. Caroline worked as a Columnist at The Spectator and as a Policy Hackers Fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation. Additionally, Caroline was a Resident at TED Conferences and held marketing roles at Google, where they managed strategic relationships, developed marketing campaigns, and served as the managing editor of Google's Think Quarterly journal. Earlier in their career, they worked as a reporter and columnist at CNET and CNET News.com. Caroline's work history also includes a role as a Junior Analyst at the Internet Crimes Group, where they researched and wrote reports on digital piracy threats for technology and telecommunications clients.

Caroline McCarthy obtained an A.B. degree in History of Science and Creative Writing from Princeton University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart from 1992 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Content Writing from Cornell University and Tarot Reading from Biddy Tarot in the years 2023 and 2021 respectively.
