Yue Hu

Yue Hu is a skilled optical engineer with significant experience in the field, currently serving as a Principal Optical Engineer at Infinera since October 2021, following a progression from Staff Optical Engineer. Prior roles include Optical Communication Systems Modeling Researcher at TE SubCom from February 2017 to October 2021 and a Machine Learning intern at FutureWei Technologies, where Yue Hu applied machine learning algorithms to enhance network reliability. Academically, Yue Hu earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where research focused on advanced models for photodetectors, and also held roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the same institution.
