Matt Shakespeare has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Matt is currently working as the Global Customer Support Director at Infinitesima Limited since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Service for SPI Lasers at TRUMPF from August 2016 to March 2022. From June 2014 to July 2016, they worked as the Service Business Manager at Oxford Instruments. Before that, they were the Service Manager at SPP PUMPS from July 2010 to June 2014, where they had full P&L responsibility for the multi-million Pound global field service business. From October 2006 to July 2010, they worked as the Service Business Development Manager at Edwards, where they were responsible for worldwide commercial and product management of the Vacuum service business. Prior to that, they served as the Product Manager for 300mm tools at Thermo Electron from August 2001 to October 2006, developing a market strategy and successfully selling the product into semiconductor fabs worldwide. Matt started their career as a Process Engineer at JDS Uniphase from February 1998 to August 2001 and earlier as an International Service Engineer at Trikon Technologies from January 1995 to February 1998, performing installation and maintenance of Semiconductor PVD metalization tools globally.

Matt Shakespeare attended The University of Sheffield from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Control Engineering.
