Michael Mayhew

Michael Mayhew is a seasoned professional in machine learning and bioinformatics with extensive experience in leading research teams and developing diagnostic classifiers. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Machine Learning at Inflammatix, Inc., since July 2017, Michael focuses on advancing statistical modeling and machine learning techniques. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from October 2014 to July 2017, where responsibilities included developing state-of-the-art mathematical models and analyzing large datasets. Michael's earlier career includes a position as a Research Associate at the National Institute of Mental Health, emphasizing cognitive assessments in fMRI studies. Academically, Michael holds a PhD in Computational Biology & Bioinformatics and a concurrent MSc in Statistics from Duke University, alongside a MSc in Computer Science from McGill University and a BSc in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.
