Ihar Khakholka

Ihar Khakholka has a strong background in machine learning and deep learning engineering. Ihar started their career at Oxagile in 2018, where they worked as an R&D Deep Learning Engineer, focusing on building algorithms for video and audio-based search in videos. In 2019, they joined Wargaming as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they developed and optimized a Human Body Pose Estimation model for mobile phones in real-time, as well as an unsupervised algorithm for human movements recognition and correction. Ihar then moved to IREX.ai in 2020, where they served as a Deep Learning Engineer and later as a Lead Research Engineer and Lead Software Engineer. At IREX.ai, they were responsible for training and optimizing deep neural networks for computer vision, as well as designing and implementing a video face analytics module. In 2022, Ihar joined TikTok as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, specializing in Python and C++. Currently, they are working at Infomediji d.o.o. as the CTO and Head of Data & ML, where they are leading the data and machine learning team.

Ihar Khakholka holds a Master of Science (MS) degree and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Belarusian State University. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Deep Learning Specialization from deeplearning.ai, Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) Specialization from DeepLearning.AI, and the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate from IBM.
