Daishawn Pope

Daishawn Pope has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Starting in February 2019, Pope worked as an IT Risk and Compliance Intern at the American Cancer Society, where they gained practical knowledge in updating and reviewing security policies, working with security applications, and understanding industry frameworks such as PCI DSS and NIST Cybersecurity Framework. In May 2019, Pope interned as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst at Equifax, where they contributed to cyber threat analysis. In January 2021, Pope joined the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia as a Cyber Security Analyst, specializing in maintaining and analyzing security systems. Finally, as of June 2021, Pope became a Security Engineer at IIT - Information and Infrastructure Technologies, Inc., further strengthening their expertise in the field.

From 2015 to 2019, Daishawn Pope attended Kennesaw State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Cyber Security.
