Devops Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated DevOps Specialist with 3 + years of experience. The ideal applicant has strong DevOps background with some software development experience and ability to engage and work with a team of software engineers in developing robust controls and components, as well as a SaaS platform for the Infragistics Ignite UI and Indigo.Design product lines. The candidate should also present passion and experience mentoring junior software developers. Must present evidence of successfully completed projects and defend resume points with confidence. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Help ensure uptime, performance and user experience are delivered without compromise.
• Setup and maintenance of a mix of cloud and self-hosted infrastructure, both internal and public-facing.
• Proactively look for opportunities to automate every aspect of the application and security lifecycle.
• Maintains close awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application for service offerings and products.

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent.
• Typically, have at least 3 years of experience working in software development teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills (English).
• Experience with .NET and JavaScript (nodejs) environments.
• Experience in a DevOps role.
• Working knowledge of GIT, TFS, AWS, Azure.
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
• Ability to understand customer requirements, business objectives and implementing appropriate technical solutions.
• Strong focus on detail and deliverables’ quality.
• Experience with end-to-end CI/CD process.
• Experience working with multiple OS-es – Windows, Linux, macOS.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.
