Joseph Tang

Joseph Tang has over 20 years of work experience in various finance and IT roles. Joseph'smost recent position was as VP IT Enterprise Platforms & Data at Infrastructure Ontario, where they started in October 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Scotiabank as Director, International Banking Finance FP&A from February 2018 to February 2020. Joseph also held senior director roles at CIBC, where they were responsible for Retail, Business Banking and Wealth Finance from March 2013 to February 2018, and Finance Shared Services from September 2013 to August 2014. Earlier in their career, they served as AVP, Finance Systems (Investment Division) at Manulife Financial from May 2008 to March 2013, and Sr. Director, Business Intelligence MIS at CIBC from October 2003 to May 2008. Joseph started their career as a Contract Business Systems Analyst at TD Waterhouse from February 1997 to October 2001. Joseph also served as Director, Corporate Finance Systems at Canada Life from October 2001 to October 2003.

Joseph Tang completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting & MIS from McGill University from 1983 to 1987. Joseph then pursued a certification in Public Accounting from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) between 1991 and 1993.
