The opportunity

Infravision Transmission Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Trainer to join our growing team.  In this role, you will be responsible for developing, delivering and overseeing a comprehensive training program for our employees specifically focusing on their application in transmission line solutions, along with Infravision construction methodology and use of associated ground equipment.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Operations Manager - India, your responsibilities include:

Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees on:

  • Infravision construction methodology for transmission lines.

  • Safe and efficient use of ground equipment associated with Infravision construction and RPAS operation.

  • Deliver training sessions using a variety of instructional methods, including:

  • Classroom instruction on RPAS technology, aviation regulations, Infravision construction methods, and data collection techniques.

  • Hands-on flight exercises using simulators and actual RPAS (following safety protocols).

  • Practical exercises on the use and maintenance of ground equipment for Infravision construction and RPAS support.

  • E-learning modules on relevant aviation regulations and Infravision construction best practices.

  • Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant standards including Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) regulations for RPAS operations, relevant industry standards for Infravision construction, and address best practices for safe and efficient operations in the field.

  • As part of a global team, evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement based on industry best practices, regulatory updates, and technological advancements.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest:

           - Training and education best practices.

           -  RPAS technologies, aviation regulations specific to RPAS use.

           -  Infravision construction methodology and associated ground equipment.

  • Develop and maintain training materials, including course outlines, presentations, handouts, flight simulation exercises, and practical exercises for ground equipment operation.

  • Mentor and coach other trainers on RPAS operation, Infravision construction methods, and training methodologies.

  • Manage training budgets and resources specific to RPAS and Infravision construction training programs.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

  • Recognised training or instructional qualification and/ or associated experience in delivering training.

  • RPAS Licence

  • Strong understanding of work compliances at site during live line conditions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Willingness to travel to various construction sites throughout India as needed.
