What you’ll do

Field / Mobilized / Project Operations

  • Operate and maintain Infravision proprietary construction equipment machinery and field robotics including drone payloads, winches, puller / tensioners, light and heavy vehicles, cranes etc.

  • Pilot drones in multiple weight classes (including >25kg) for construction operations in Australia and Internationally.

  • Operate UAS in active construction environments, ensuring safe flight operations and mission success is achieved.

  • Obtain or hold a current High Risk Work License in Dogging and Basic Rigging, to conduct rigging and dogging activities on construction sites, including lifting loads, directing loads and pulling synthetic and wire ropes for transmission line construction.

  • Operate in accordance with CASA legislation.

  • Carry out all work in accordance with relevant WHSE regulations and procedures.

  • Perform construction support activities, such as manual handling, machine operation and site logistics.

  • Work in remote environments, interstate and internationally.

  • Partake in daily site meetings, noting instructions from site management, crew leaders and others regarding planned tasks.

  • Plan and prepare for upcoming work, assuming responsibility for assigned equipment.

  • Actively participate in hazard identification, reporting and mitigation in the workplace.

  • Demonstrate initiative by seeking additional work if tasks are completed.

  • Work varied DIDO and/or FIFO roster cycles, depending on project requirements.

  • Work under the direction of management, site supervisors and crew leaders.

  • Assist other Infravision business departments in reaching their goals.

Office Based Operations

  • Conduct planning and preparation for upcoming projects and work activities.

  • Review and collaborate on the development of Infravision operational documentation.

  • Maintain currency for all required competencies through training and development.

  • Perform administrative tasks utilising Infravision’s suite of software systems.

  • Assist other Infravision business departments in reaching their goals.

  • Able to enthusiastically operate in construction environments in a range of conditions to deliver field services
  • Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and occasionally internationally
  • Ability and willingness to work DIDO/FIFO as required for project related works
  • Willing and able to complete an Australian Police background check
  • Ability to comply with Infravision’s Drug and Alcohol Policy
  • A commitment to demonstrating and operating to the highest level of safety and quality
  • Professional spoken and written interpersonal communication skills

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications, Experience and Values

  • Current driver's license (Class C, P2)

  • CASA RePL <25kg MTOW (Multirotor)

  • WHS Construction White Card

  • Ability to read, interpret and explain construction methods and instructions.

  • Competent application of computer software such as MS Office, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Project and equivalent G-Suite

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.

  • Willingness to assist in implementing innovative solutions and organisational change.

  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR qualifications.

Highly Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in industrial work such as working on service infrastructure construction sites (ie. electrical transmission / distribution, communications, oil / gas etc.)

  • High Risk Work Licenses such as Rigging (RB), Dogging (DG), Crane (CV, C6, C0 etc.), Forklift (LF), Elevated Work Platform (WP).

  • Other recognised qualifications, such as; Working at Heights, Tower Rescue, Pole Top Rescue, EWP Rescue and EWP Controlled Descent, Telehandler (gold card).

  • Heavy Vehicle driving license (LR, MR, HR).

  • Experience in operating UAS in >25kg class.
