Alessio Miranda

Alessio Miranda has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Alessio began their career in 1993 at Banca d'Italia as a Coadiutore in the Banking Supervision Department. In 1997, they joined ING as a Managing Director in Internal Audit, where they stayed until 2004. Alessio then moved to Barclays as an Audit Director until 2007 when they joined AIB as the Group Head of Internal Audit. Alessio worked at AIB until 2011 and then joined Aviva plc as the Audit Director for Aviva Europe. In 2012, they transitioned to Lloyds Banking Group as the Audit Director for Retail, Wealth, and Insurance until 2014. Alessio returned to ING in 2014 as the General Manager of Corporate Audit Services until 2019. Alessio then took on the role of Country Manager and CEO at ING Italia in 2019. Currently, they are the Global Sponsor for the ING International Talent Programme, a position they have held since 2020.

Alessio Miranda has a diverse education history. Alessio obtained a Laurea in Economics & Commerce from Luiss Guido Carli University from 1987 to 1990. Alessio then pursued a Master's degree in Finance from London Business School from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, Alessio became a CFA charterholder after completing their studies at the CFA Institute, focusing on Investments and Securities. In 2004 and 2005, they furthered their knowledge in Accounting and Finance by completing a Financial Risk Manager degree at GARP. Alessio later attended Harvard Business School in 2008 for a short-term program, earning an AMP in Business - Management. Alessio has also obtained a certification in ESG Analysis and Investing from the POLIMI Graduate School of Management, although the specific date of completion is unknown as of now.
