Frank Hernandez

Frank Hernandez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the software development and healthcare industries. Frank currently serves as the Director of Software Development - Product Quality and Member Experience at Ingenia Health since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Nagnoi, LLC, where they held the positions of Director Product Quality and Healthcare Services Manager. Frank also served as the Lead Engineer/Team Lead/Consultant for STARSTrack development team at Nagnoi, LLC. Additionally, Frank has experience in the public sector, having been a Member of The Board of Examiners For Engineers and Surveyors at the Department of State of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Frank has also held leadership positions, including President at Instituto de Ingenieros de Computadoras-CIAPR. In terms of technical roles, Frank has served as a Senior Software Programmer at Trans-Oceanic Life Insurance Company, a Software Engineer at Abaco Mobile, and a Software Engineer at Rock Solid Technologies. Their early career also includes working as a Software Test Engineer at IBM.

Frank Hernandez completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Frank further pursued their education at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, earning a Master's degree in Engineering Management from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, Frank has obtained several certifications, including MCSE: Data Management and Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, and MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014, all from Microsoft in 2020 and 2021. Frank also holds certifications in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Coursera in 2020 and various Coursera Course Certificates in the field of Big Data and Data Science between 2014 and 2016. Furthermore, Frank achieved the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Department of State of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in 2008.
