David Schotting

David Schotting, CMRP, has over 26 years of experience in maintenance and production management, currently serving as the Maintenance Unit Manager at Ingredion Incorporated since March 2011, where responsibilities include leading the wet mill maintenance team and implementing maintenance strategies to meet production and safety goals. Previous roles at Ingredion include Quality Assurance Lead, Maintenance Planning Supervisor, and Maintenance Area Lead, focusing on quality improvement and cost control. Prior to Ingredion, Schotting worked at Batesville Casket Company as Fabrication Group Leader, contributing to lean manufacturing initiatives, and at Chrysler as Production Supervisor, managing both production and maintenance teams. Schotting holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
