Gray Robinson's work experience begins in 2006 as a Lecturer for the Writing Program at the University of Southern California. In 2009, they take on various roles as a Manager and Percussionist at Mr. Adventures, and simultaneously works as a Writer, Editor, and Communications Consultant as a freelancer until 2013. In 2013, they become a Market Research Analyst at The Sales Factory, where they contribute to the successful launch of Texas Pete's Cha! branding strategy in the Sriracha sauce category.

Gray then joins Hanesbrands Inc. in 2014 as a Marketing Assistant for Champion Branded Printwear until 2016 when they transition to SFW Agency as a Marketing Director. By 2017, Gray is promoted to the Director of Strategy at SFW Agency until their departure in 2018. Gray then becomes a Start-Up Principal/Executive Team Member at F5 Sports, Inc., where they build and deploys brand strategy and digital marketing plans, resulting in increased website traffic, improved conversion rates, and successful product launches within weeks.

Moving on to 2019, Gray becomes a Business Development professional at 3 Waves Capital, focusing on generating business growth. Simultaneously, they also take on the role of Principal Consultant at DGR Consulting Group, utilizing their expertise to provide consulting services. Currently, Gray is employed at Inmar Intelligence, starting as a Business Insights Manager in 2020, then becoming a Manager and later a Senior Manager of Business Insights in January 2023.

Gray Robinson's education history begins with attending Summit School, although no specific dates are provided. Gray then attended Woodberry Forest School from 1996 to 1997. Afterward, Gray attended Episcopal High School and completed their high school program from 1998 to 2000. Moving on to higher education, Gray obtained a Bachelor's degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Colorado Boulder, which took place from 2000 to 2004. Gray then pursued further education at the University of Southern California, where they obtained a Master's degree in Professional Writing from 2006 to 2008. Later, Gray enrolled at Wake Forest University and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from 2012 to 2014. Lastly, in 2020, Gray completed a Digital Marketing Diploma at BrainStation.
