Claire Wrighton

HR Director, Technology And Regions at Inmarsat

Claire Wrighton has extensive experience in human resources and project management. Claire started their career as an Industrial Officer at the Australian Industry Group in 1989 and later served as an Industrial Officer at the Queensland Mining Council from 1992 to 1994. In 1994, they joined Shell and held various roles including Employee Relations Advisor, HR Manager - Retail, and Head of Talent Acquisition, among others. From 2007 to 2015, they worked at Shell in global HR management positions, overseeing talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, and retail HR. In 2017, they founded their own company, Wrighton HR Solutions Limited. Claire also worked at Inmarsat, initially as an interim Strategic HR Project Manager and later as the HR Director for Aviation. In 2018, they became the HR Director for Technology and Regions at Inmarsat.

Claire Wrighton attended The University of Queensland from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a B.A. Honours degree in Political Science and Industrial Relations. In 2016, they also obtained a certification in Chartered MCIPD from the CIPD institution.
