Ari Kornfeld

Director of detection technologies at InnerPlant

Ari Kornfeld has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and companies. In 2006, they worked as a Lecturer at Humboldt State University. From 2012 to 2016, they served as a Post-doctoral research associate at the Carnegie Institution for Science, where they designed and developed instruments for measuring plant photosynthesis. They then progressed to become a Senior Research Associate at the same institution from 2016 to 2019, where they supervised and maintained lab equipment. During this time, they also worked as a Building Automation Consultant, HVAC, reprogramming a HVAC building automation system to improve efficiency and occupant comfort. In 2019, Ari Kornfeld joined InnerPlant as the Director of detection technologies.

Ari Kornfeld obtained a Master of Science degree in Math Modeling/Plant Physiology from Humboldt State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of Canterbury from 2008 to 2012, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. Ari specialized in the field of Plant Ecophysiology during their doctoral studies.
