Santosh kumar Medisetty

Santosh Kumar Medisetty has a strong background in machine learning engineering.

In 2016, they began their career at DXC Technology as an Associate Software Engineer, where they focused on SFDC administrative tasks and responsibilities such as creating profiles, permission sets, dashboards, and daily status reports.

In 2018, they advanced to the role of Junior Machine Learning Engineer at DXC Technology, where they worked on consulting data engineering and data analyst tasks for a financial client, specializing in fraud detection models using Decision Trees, Random Forests, and SVM classifiers.

In 2020, Santosh joined Innovasea as a Research Intern (Machine Learning Engineer), during which time they developed a novel method for identifying fish tags using deep learning techniques, specifically UNet neural networks implemented with TensorFlow and Keras. Santosh kumar also worked on segmenting images with acoustic pings from fish tags and detecting the presence of a tag and identifying the pings using two different neural networks.

Currently, Santosh works at Innovasea as a Machine Learning Engineer, starting in 2021.

Santosh Kumar Medisetty began their education in 2009 at Geetanjali Model School, where they completed their SSC. Santosh kumar then pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from VNR VJIET, graduating in 2016. Currently, Santosh is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Dalhousie University since 2019.
