Nikolaos Samaritis

Nikolaos Samaritis has a diverse work experience in various IT roles. Nikolaos is currently working at Innovative Computing Systems, Inc. as an IT Systems Engineer since December 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Information Technology Service Desk Manager at Computer Engineering Group (CEG) from December 2016 to October 2021. In this role, they provided leadership to the Helpdesk team, developed and reported on performance indicators, and facilitated training and development for employees.

Before CEG, Nikolaos worked as a Tech Supervisor at Staples from October 2014 to December 2016. In this role, they successfully troubleshooted and diagnosed computer issues, performed virus removal, and installed and configured operating systems, software, and security solutions.

Prior to Staples, they worked as a Satellite Technician at Dish Network from December 2014 to July 2015. Their responsibilities included installing satellite antennas, configuring satellite TV networks, and troubleshooting issues.

Earlier in their career, Nikolaos served in the US Army as an Information Technology Specialist from November 2006 to September 2014. In this role, they managed hardware and software troubleshooting, resolved network connectivity and printer problems, and handled user and group management in Active Directory.

Nikolaos Samaritis obtained a Bachelor's degree in IT- Cloud Computing from Western Governors University from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Information Technology with an emphasis on network security from Heald College from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, they attended the U.S Army Information Technology School at the U.S Army Center of Excellence in Fort Gordon, GA.

In terms of certifications, Nikolaos Samaritis obtained several credentials. Nikolaos received the CompTIA Cloud+ certification from CompTIA in December 2021, the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon in September 2021, the CompTIA Project+ certification from CompTIA in October 2020, the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in August 2020, the CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA in February 2020, and the ITIL Foundation Level certification from ITIL Certified in January 2020. Nikolaos also obtained the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA in December 2019.
