Jerry Legerton

Jerry Legerton has a rich and diverse work experience spanning several decades. Jerry co-founded Innovega Inc in 2009 and continues to serve as a Co-founder and Director. In 2020, they co-founded Ocular Surface Innovations, Inc. Prior to these ventures, Jerry held various leadership roles, including President of Prolign Technologies Inc. since 2002 and Global Ophthalmic Consultants, LLC since 1985. Jerry also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at TearFilm Innovations, Inc. from 2014 to 2018. Jerry was the Chief Technology Officer, Executive Vice President, and Co-founder of SynergEyes from 2001 to 2006, and Vice President of Advanced Technology and Market Development at Paragon Vision Sciences from 1997 to 2001. Jerry worked as the Director of Clinical Research at Pilkington Barnes Hind from 1994 to 1996. Jerry's extensive career began in 1968 when they became the President and Managing Partner of Associated Vision Care Specialists, Inc., where they served until 1994.

Jerry Legerton obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychophysiological Optics from the Southern California College of Optometry, lasting from 1963 to 1966. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Optometry degree from the same institution, attending from 1965 to 1968. Subsequently, they attended Trinity School of Graduate Studies from 1982 to 1984, earning a Master of Science degree in Counseling. Finally, Jerry Legerton completed their education by obtaining an MBA in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, which took place from 1989 to 1991.
