Nicolas Mondada

Nicolas Mondada has over 12 years of work experience in the field of software engineering and product management. In 2007, they began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at Banco Rio, where they worked as a Data Analyst and Oracle PL/SQL developer. In 2008, they moved to TeleTech as a Software Engineer, where they worked on ETL and Data Warehouse Software Engineering on Oracle PL/SQL, as well as Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Consulting. In 2009, they worked as a Software Engineer at Citibank and Technical Lead at HP Enterprise Services, where they were responsible for software engineering under CMMI L5. In 2011, they joined MuleSoft Inc. as a Product Manager for Dataloader.io, a B2C SaaS data integration for Salesforce. Nicolas took the product from ideation to launch as a free product reaching #1 on AppExchange in only 4 weeks, later to a freemium model generating more than 1M ARR in 24 months. In 2016, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at both Import.io and Essence. At Import.io, they led a product pivot from a freemium model to a SaaS vertical-oriented solution for SMBs. In 2018, they founded Explorer Plan, a digital travel concierge service for European travellers, where they hired and lead a small team of contractors for software development, content writing, travel research, and UX. Nicolas also developed and implemented the content marketing plan across multiple channels. Currently, they are a Product Manager at Inrupt, Inc.

Nicolas Mondada completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at UADE from 2007 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Electronics Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires from 2002 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Nicolas has obtained several certifications, such as an AI Product Manager Nanodegree from Udacity in May 2020, a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in September 2013, a Gamification certification from Coursera in May 2013, a Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute in June 2012, a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in March 2012, an Oracle Certified Associate from Pearson VUE in April 2010, and an Oracle Database: SQL Certified Expert from Pearson VUE in December 2008.
