Lothar Terfloth

Lothar Terfloth has a diverse work experience in the fields of finance, innovation, pharmaceutical testing, and research and development. Lothar started their career as a Research Scientist at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster in 1994, where they worked until 1998. Lothar then joined Computer-Chemie-Centrum, University Erlangen-Nuremberg in 1999 and served as a Research Scientist until 2007. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at Molecular Networks GmbH - Computerchemie as the Head of Research & Development. In 2014, they joined Yokogawa Insilico Biotechnology GmbH as the Team Manager for Pharmaceutical Testing. Lothar later took on the role of Head of Innovation from 2016 to 2019. Currently, Lothar Terfloth holds the position of Executive Director of Finance at Yokogawa Insilico Biotechnology GmbH since January 2020.

Lothar Terfloth obtained their Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Münster. Lothar'sdoctoral studies, which lasted from 1994 to 1999, focused on ab initio and DFT calculations as well as NMR. In addition to their academic background, Lothar Terfloth also holds a certification as a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, which they obtained in May 2015.
