Carlos Fernandez

Fernandez, Carlos has extensive work experience in the medical field. Fernandez, began their career at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau as a medical resident and ICU physician from 1995 to 1999. Fernandez, then joined Novartis as a Senior Epidemiologist from 2002 to 2007 and later transitioned to the role of Medical Scientific Expert until 2011. Fernandez furthered their career at Pearl Therapeutics as a Senior Medical Director from 2011 to 2014. Currently, they are employed at Insmed Incorporated, where they have held various positions such as Sr Medical Director and, most recently, Executive Medical Director since 2022.

Carlos Fernandez received their MD degree from the University of Navarra, where they attended from 1986 to 1992. Afterwards, they pursued an MPH degree in Public Health at The Johns Hopkins University from 2000 to 2001. Later, they furthered their education at the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, where they earned an MBA degree between 2008 and 2010.
